Jenny Polanco (1958-2020) was a Dominican fashion designer, mother of 2, entrepreneur and trailblazer, who achieved international acclaim and success throughout a career that spanned almost 4 decades.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Jenny defined her own space in the fashion industry with a sophisticated vision of Caribbean chic that in her own words established “a fluid dialogue between classic avant-garde style and essential elements from my region”.

A visionary, Jenny Polanco built her brand on sustainability principles from the outset and created an ethical brand with a strong national identity. She was a mentor and supporter to many emerging talents and worked with several nonprofits and organizations.

In 2012, Jenny created -JP Project- a space in the town of Altos de Chavon, where young designers and artisans continue to this day, to have the opportunity to host pop up shops and events displaying their work.
